New Product Announcement: Thermal Insulating Coating

TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2023

Protective coatings manufacturer Tnemec Company Inc. recently launched its new fluid-applied acrylic insulation coating, Series 975 Aerolon. The thermal insulating coating is reportedly ideal for insulating pipes, valves, tanks, structural steel, or other substrates where thermal improvement, condensation reduction, or personnel protection is desired.

The formulation is filled with a hydrophobic, insulative particle offering exceptional thermal performance, featuring a durable, water-based resin system with “excellent” adhesion and durability.

Additionally, it is part of a corrosion-resistant coating system that bonds to the substrate to reduce the issues associated with corrosion under insulation (CUI) and to mitigate thermal bridging by controlling condensation.

“Tnemec is proud to announce the national launch of Series 975 Aerolon, a further advancement of the company’s industry-leading insulative coating technology,” wrote the company on its LinkedIn.
