Contractors Needed for TX Storage Tank Construction
The Laguna Madre Water District in Port Isabel, Texas, is currently seeking contractors for the construction of an elevated storage tank.

Scope of Work
This project includes the Near-White Metal Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2) and Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), as well as coating of interior wet surfaces using a polyurethane coating system.
The contract involves the Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3), Brush-Off Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 7/NACE No. 4) and Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), with the coating of interior dry surfaces using a three-coat zinc/epoxy/epoxy coating system.
This project requires that the exterior be cleaning to Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3), Brush-Off Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 7/NACE No. 4) and Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1) standards. Exterior surfaces will be coated using a zinc/epoxy/polyurethane/fluorourethane coating system.
Containment is required.
