HoldTight Product Receives Carboline Approval

Surface protection solution company HoldTight Solutions, Inc. (Houston) recently announced via emailed press release that one of its products has received approval from global coatings, linings and fireproofing manufacturer Carboline Company.

According to the company, HoldTight 102 is compatible beneath all coatings that Carboline offers. Carboline tested the salt remover and flash rust preventer with a variety of organic and inorganic coating systems consisting of both atmospheric immersion grade coatings.

HoldTight 102 reportedly removes all salts, resulting in no conductivity, and removes abrasives and debris from the surface’s profile, providing a better surface area to bond with coatings and extend coating lifespan. It can also be worked into any blasting process to achieve a totally clean surface, with zero flash-rust and zero residue left behind.

“We are thrilled to add another name to our coating compatibility list,” said Ken Rossy, President of HoldTight. “We see firsthand how useful our HoldTight 102 can be, and we look forward to more people implementing it into their process and reaping the benefits.”

Additionally, HoldTight reports, HoldTight 102 continues to be approved by all major coating manufacturers beneath all of the manufacturer’s coatings or specific coatings both for atmospheric and immersion grade coatings.

Recent HoldTight Product

Last month, HoldTight launched its new line of field test kits created to detect soluble salts. SaltProof by HoldTight offers three versions of the chloride test.

The first kit, SaltProof Standard, uses Bresle patches to extract the salt. It also includes a metal syringe and five tests.

SaltProof Pro reportedly uses DeFelsko PosiPatch technology and includes a flexible magnetic ring, reusable Bresle-style patches, a safer plastic syringe and 10 tests. HoldTight notes this kit is the most cost-effective for repeat users.

Finally, the SaltProof Pro Refill Kit includes an additional PosiPatch, reusable Brestle patch refills, and all other materials required to conduct five additional tests.

According to the emailed release, the line of test kits is now available for purchase.
