Medina County in Ohio is currently seeking contractors for the rehabilitation of a 500,000-gallon elevated water storage tank.

Bids are due Dec. 13.

Scope of Work

This project involves the rehabilitation of a 500,000-gallon elevated water storage tank.

This project includes Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and the coating of exterior tank surfaces using a four-coat zinc/epoxy/urethane/fluoropolymer coating system.

This project also includes the Near-White Metal Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2) and coating of wet interior tank surfaces using a three-coat zinc/epoxy coating system.

Additionally, the project requires the Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and coating of dry interior tank surfaces using a two-coat epoxy coating system.

Containment is required. The brand specified is Tnemec.
