Benjamin Moore Announces 2023 Color, Trends
Paint and coatings manufacturer Benjamin Moore recently revealed its 2023 Color of the Year, highlighting a color that it says “enlivens the senses with an electric optimism.”
Raspberry Blush 2008-30 is described as a vivacious shade of coral tinged with pink that flows through and connects hues found in Benjamin Moore’s 2023 Color Trends collection.
“This unapologetic shade of red orange had us thinking: bold, bolder, boldest,” wrote the coatings manufacturer. “Inspired by an artist’s desire to communicate through color, shape, and sound, Color Trends 2023 was built to envelop you in vivacious color.”
According to reports, to commemorate the 2023 selection, Benjamin Moore partnered with electro-funk duo Chromeo to celebrate the positive, upbeat color palette. The song selections also aim to highlight how color can be utilized for self-expression, much like in music.
Also noted in the announcement, Benjamin Moore suggested several options for incorporating Raspberry Blush in the home, whether it be updating a dining room’s walls, creating a bold living room, or using the hue to create a pop of color in a powder room or office space.
In diving into this year’s trending colors, Benjamin Moore shared that the 2023 palette was chosen for its distinct presence and personality. Made up of eight hues, the collection is designed to inspire creativity and pushes for users to push beyond traditional deigns to experience exceptional colors and individualism.
