Contractors Needed for TX Clearwell Rehab Project


The Upper Leon River Municipal Water District in Comanche, Texas, is currently seeking contractors for the rehabilitation of an existing clearwell.

Bids are due Sept. 15.

Scope of Work

This project involves the rehabilitation of an existing one-million-gallon concrete domed clearwell located in Comanche, Texas.

This project includes the exterior coating of the tank along with the replacement of aging safety components and piping.

The work also includes the pressure washing of exterior concrete surfaces, followed by the application of a coating system that consists of a penetrating epoxy primer and two coats of a waterborne acrylic coating.

The owner-approved coating manufacturer for this project is Tnemec.
