New Product Announcement: Interior Semi-Gloss
Paint and coatings company Dunn-Edwards recently introduced a new ultra-premium, urethane-modified acrylic interior semi-gloss paint for cabinets, doors and trim via emailed press release.
When used on a properly prepared interior wood substrate, Decoglo is noted to be easily applied and is also complementary to Dunn-Edwards’ Decoprime, an interior water-based wood primer. Together, the coatings are a complete, ultra-low VOC paint system, providing a fast-drying and quality finish, the company says.
The company went on to suggest that those completing an interior project should use Decorpime first to create a sandable layer with stain-blocking and adhesion properties. Then, painters can apply the new Decoglo for hardness and shine.
When used together, Dunn-Edwards reports that the finished result looks like an enamel without the smell or long drying times.
“Dunn-Edwards' new additions of Decoglo and Decoprime make a combination that differentiates from competitor products with its quality that makes it extremely long-lasting. Some of the features of Decoglo, like its extreme scuff, block and chemical resistance, are ones that customers have been looking for in a water-based coating but could never find,” said Tim Bosveld, Vice President of Product Management.
