Deadline Extended for Elevation Awards

FRIDAY, JULY 15, 2022

The nomination deadline for the sixth annual Elevation Awards, a commercial honors program carried out by Technology Publishing Co. and the Commercial Painting Industry Association, has been extended to July 29.

Different from previous years, the 2022 Elevation Awards have redefined eligibility terms and categories to make for a more robust and celebratory commercial painting competition.

The changes carried out to strengthen the honors program are better defined to recognize projects ranging from residential exteriors and commercial renovations to floor coatings and wall coverings throughout the commercial coatings industry.

Facility owners, architects, interior designers, painting contractors, decorative artisans, manufacturers and suppliers alike are all invited to submit nominations.

While there is no fee to enter, eligible projects must be completed between Jan. 1, 2021, and July 15, 2022. Those nominating projects are permitted to submit more than one, even within the same category.

Readers interested in submitting a project can do so, here.

“While we’ve received several impressive submissions so far, I’m challenging you all to make this year the program’s best yet,” said Destiny Johnson, Editor-in-Chief of Commercial Painting. “As we continue to work through post-pandemic challenges, I believe that the competition changes present quite the opportunity to show how your team has bounced back.

“I hope that this short extension will benefit those looking to submit nominations and fuel the program’s competitive nature. There is no doubt that the Elevation Awards keep raising the bar for industry excellence. I can’t wait to announce the winners at the CPIA Leadership Conference in October!”
