Since July 2019, Brenntag has been the exclusive distributor for Baxxodur products in the Western and Eastern United States. The portfolio is reported to include polyetheramines and isophorone diamine, which customers use as curing agents and chain extenders in epoxy and polyurea applications for the wind, electrical, composites, adhesives and flooring industries.
According to BASF, with Baxxodur’s agreement to expand its international distribution, customers will be able to achieve a wide range of benefits in their formulation, including curing time, hardness, flexibility, peel strength, chemical and temperature resistance. The expanded collaboration is slated to go into effect on May 1.
