Bids Open for MI Public Works Project
The City of Berkley is soliciting bids for improvements to the Department of Public Works office in Berkley, Michigan.

Scope of Work
This project involves painting, site work, utility work and other services at the City of Berkley's Department of Public Works office.
Exterior work involves a three-coat system of epoxy on ferrous metal, piping and related equipment surfaces; and a two-coat system of epoxy and acrylate on wood substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of epoxy on ferrous metal, piping and related equipment surfaces; a three-coat system of latex, epoxy and polyurethane on new and existing interior masonry substrates; and a two-coat system of latex and epoxy on drywall surfaces.
Surfaces are to be cleaned and prepared according to standards for Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3), Surface Preparation of Concrete (SSPC-SP 13/NACE No. 6) and Brush-off Blast Cleaning of Coated or Uncoated Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel, and Non-Ferrous Metals (SSPC-SP 16).
