Contractors Needed Water Tank Rehabilitation
The Village of Endicott in New York is currently seeking contractors for the rehabilitation of a riveted steel water storage tank.
Bids are due Dec. 16.
Scope of Work
This project involves the coating of the interior surfaces of a riveted steel water storage tank.
The project involves the abrasive blast-cleaning of the interior surfaces of the tank. The surface preparation standards associated with this abrasive blasting is to Near White (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2) standard. The surface will then receive a coating of hydro-zinc primer, surfacing epoxy strip coat and epoxy finish coating.
The approved coating manufacturer for this project is Tnemec. Approved equivalents will also be accepted.
