New Product Announcement: Scissor Lift Equipment

Hy-Brid Lifts by Custom Equipment LLC recently announced they unveiled several new scissor lift options at the ARA Show in Las Vegas last month.

Products were featured for its Push-Around Series, Pro Series and Zero-Turn Series scissor lifts, including new lithium-ion batteries, a pipe rack and confined access rails, according to an emailed press release.

Hy-Brid reports that the batteries can be fully charged in three hours, require minimal maintenance and have significantly longer lifespans. Hy-Brid’s first mobile charging station is lithium-ion battery-based and can charge multiple scissor lifts and other devices, reportedly outputting more power than it draws.

The new pipe rack can be attached to any A92.20 Pro Series model’s rails, elevating up to 250 pounds of pipe or conduit without need for counterweights. The confined access rail concept for Pro Series and Zero-Turn Series machines allows operators to elevate into narrow width areas, the company states, without being exposed to a fall hazard.

The company also displayed a hot pink all-electric scissor lift prototype to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the release, a portion of the show’s sales will be donated to support breast cancer education and early detection for women across the globe.

“The pink lift was designed to be more than attention-grabbing. While it certainly generated excitement, it also defined continuing support from Hy-Brid Lifts for the community and those we serve,” said Marshall Shaver, VP of Sales and Marketing.

Weighing less than 2,000 lbs. with a working height of 25-feet and 650 lbs. platform capacity, the scissor lift reportedly eliminates all hydraulic fluid for leak-free operation. The pink prototype features 30% gradeability, indoor and outdoor operation settings, lithium-ion batteries, telematics, regenerative descent charging, active load-sensing and proportional controls.
