CPIA, CCC Conferences Feature Attending Sponsors
Later this month, the Commercial Painting Industry Association will host its inaugural CPIA Leadership Conference in conjunction with Technology Publishing Company’s hosted-buyer event, Commercial Contractor Connect.
Focusing solely on the commercial painting industry, both events will share recreational, educational and networking activities from Oct. 19-21; then Contractor Connect invitees will break off for private meetings Oct. 21-22. Both events will take place at the beautiful Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Palm Coast, Florida.

Who Should Attend the CPIA Leadership Conference?
All commercial painting contractors and related professionals, including architects, engineers, interior designers and asset owners—as well as spouses and partners—are encouraged to attend the CPIA Leadership Conference, whether or not they are members of the CPIA. In addition to enjoying group activities, such as open-air receptions, beachfront golf or deep-sea fishing, participants will gather to discuss critical business challenges, solutions, best practices and the future of the industry.
To guarantee your seat at the event, register now. Once you have signed up, the TPC team will contact you to assist with travel and accommodations and answer any questions you may have. For immediate queries, contact Mike Stanley, firstname.lastname@example.org, 412.431.6114.
Who is Invited to Contractor Connect (All Expenses Paid)?
While the Leadership Conference is open to all, the Connect event is limited to a selection of qualified buyers and sponsoring suppliers. Those who purchase coatings, equipment, supplies and services for their commercial painting contractor business are urged to apply now for consideration.
The full cost of the conference, travel, meals, activities and accommodations is 100% underwritten by the event host for these contractors. If you qualify, request an invitation by contacting TPC CEO Brion Palmer, email@example.com (include your phone number), or complete a very brief application form here.
Sponsorship Opportunities and Confirmed Sponsors
Suppliers in the commercial coatings industry are offered exclusive opportunities to participate as sponsors, building relationships with current and prospective customers in fun and productive ways. In addition to sponsoring meals, receptions and other activities during the Leadership Conference, these suppliers join invited buyers from commercial contracting companies for prescheduled, one-on-one meetings during Contractor Connect.
“As with our previous Connect events,” said TPC CEO, Brion Palmer, “the curated selection of suppliers and contractors keeps the gathering intimate and ensures that all attendees have the opportunity to interact both personally and professionally. Feedback from past sponsors and invited delegates tells us their experiences were remarkably productive.”
One sponsor, for example, has participated in every Connect event:
"We didn’t think we needed help to talk to customers, but Contractor Connect was more cost-effective than doing our own event,” said Doni Riddle, recently retired Senior Vice President of Technology and Integration at The Sherwin-Williams Company. “We gained valuable insight on what was important to the contractor, strengthened relationships and learned about new opportunities. We’ve sponsored every year since.”
This year, the 2021 event sponsors include:
Interested suppliers have the option of becoming a Platinum or Silver sponsor, outlined here. See ancillary sponsorship opportunities for the Leadership Conference here and for Contractor Connect here.
About the CPIA
The Commercial Painting Industry Association is the first and only trade association created exclusively for commercial painting professionals. Its mission is to nurture a peer-based community of industry experts dedicated to learning and development through collaboration. CPIA members have access to all the relevant resources and guidance required for further business growth.
Created just a couple of years ago, CPIA Co-Founder Aaron Moore said the organization has grown into an “epic group of some of the most important commercial painting organizations in North America.”
In total, the CPIA member companies represent over $150 million in yearly commercial project work and are large buyers of products and services specific to the commercial coatings market.
“CPIA members, themselves, are the organization’s most valuable asset, because their knowledge, expertise and network form the very core of the association,” said CPIA Co-Founder Steve Hester. “They take a proactive role in the industry and elevate their business through membership opportunities and benefits.”
