CPIA, CCC Conferences Highlight Oceanfront Location

This October, the Commercial Painting Industry Association will host its inaugural CPIA Leadership Conference in conjunction with Technology Publishing Company’s hosted buyer event, Commercial Contractor Connect.

The Leadership Conference is slated to take place over three days, from Oct. 19-21 at the Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Palm Coast, Florida, while Commercial Contractor Connect will also occur at the resort from Oct. 21-22.

Focusing solely on the commercial painting industry, the conferences promise three days of guaranteed face time with top commercial painting contractors, and meetings between leadership teams of some of the most successful commercial painting businesses in North America.

Specifically, the dual conference will bring together Commercial Contractor Connect Sponsors (suppliers) for private, one-on-one time with a curated selection of the country’s leading commercial painting contractors (buyers), as patterned from TPC’s already-established Contractor Connect events, which have paired industrial painting contractor attendees with sponsor vendors.

Located just minutes south of St. Augustine, Florida, the Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa is described as “an extraordinary treasure” nested on the Palm Coast beaches of the Atlantic Coast.

Featuring 300 guestrooms and suites throughout its three towers, in addition to spacious condominiums and an assortment of public spaces, the resort property is reported to be an oasis of tranquility and relaxation whose staff is committed to delivering a first-class experience.

In looking out from the resort, guests attending the event will be met with unparalleled views of the ocean and its Jack Nicklaus-designed oceanfront golf course. Additionally, the resort features a second golf course as well: the Conservatory Course, designed by Tom Watson. Both courses are reported to have spectacular oceanfront views, dramatic rolling hills and challenging layouts.

Besides the rich ocean views and golfing opportunities, the resort also features several indoor and outdoor restaurant and bar options, numerous guest activities such as its full-service spa, tennis courts and fitness center, in addition to pool and beach swimming options.

Reported to be one of Florida’s most sought-after meeting locations, Hammock Beach Resort & Spa boasts over 16,000 square feet of indoor function space and over 40,000 square feet of flexible outdoor space.

Meeting rooms are noted to feature extensive audiovisual capabilities, which are serviced by the resort’s award-winning and professional event planning staff, offering a rare combination of natural beauty with modern conference facilities and luxury amenities.

Whether registered or interested contractors and suppliers are CPIA members or are just eager to know more about the association and its many benefits, the CPIA is welcoming all commercial painting contractors and related professionals, including architects, engineers, interior designers and asset owners to register.

As for TPC’s Commercial Contractor Connect, the company plans to invite a limited number of commercial painting contractors with qualified buying power to connect with sponsoring suppliers who provide the products and services they need—all in the beautiful ocean-side setting of a world-class resort.

To be considered, interested contracting companies must fill out the attached application here.

A few of the event’s current sponsors include The Sherwin-Williams Company, McBrayer & Associates, Benjamin Moore, Purdy Professional Painting Tools, The Wooster Brush Company, Titan, Uniflex and Graco.

Interested suppliers will have the option of becoming a Platinum or Silver sponsor. Details regarding these supporting sponsorships and their benefits can be found here (CPIA) and here (CCC). Additional ancillary sponsorship opportunities can be found here (CCC).

One of the key attributes of Commercial Contractor Connect is the intimacy of the event. Suppliers in the commercial coatings industry are offered exclusive opportunities to participate as sponsors, building relationships with current and prospective customers in fun and productive ways.

Schedule and Updates

While the conference’s agenda is still being finalized, contractors who are registered or considering attending can stay updated by visiting the event’s respective CPIA and CCC homepages.
