New Product Announcement: Metallic Powder Coatings
Tiger Drylac, the North American operating division of Tiger Coatings GmbH & Co KG in Wels, Austria, recently announced two new color additions to its metallics product line.
The Sunrise Black Metallic and the Tropical Red Metallic have now been added to the Tiger Drylac Flip-Flop Metallics line, which change colors in different lighting conditions and at different angles.
The technology aims to provide metallic effects in a weather-resistant, durable powder coating. The coatings are formulated with Tiger Drylac Series 58 chemistry for a long-lasting color shift effect, according to the company.
Tiger also notes that these colors work best on curved surfaces that are exposed to sunlight and adds that, while they can work with any base color, the best effect arises when sprayed over black.
The company also recommends using either a glossy or matte clear topcoat.
Flip-Flop Metallic products are now in stock at Tiger Drylac USA and may be ordered by any Tiger location across North America.
