Global liquid and powder coatings supplier Axalta launched earlier this week its 2021 edition of wood coatings and color trends.

“Wood Vibes: Mood” is described as an “expansion of Axalta's wood color collection, focusing on home interior color trends and wood finishes using cutting-edge color formulations.”

The collection features a mix of bright colors, pastels and wood tones titled Spirit, Lively, L'amour, Cozy, Effortless, Cheers and Namaste.

The Wood Vibes: Mood color palettes include:

• Spirit - incorporates hues of green aiming for feelings of positivity, refreshment and harmony;
• Lively - is composed of subtle hues creating a welcoming feeling;
• L'amour – is a combination of pale pink and blue for a fresh palette of calming colors;
• Cozy - balances brighter hues with grey tones, creating a simple yet versatile palette;
• Effortless - maximizes beige, cream and brown color trends; and
• Cheers - highlights red, creating a dramatic and passionate palette.
