Anue Water Hires Technical Staff

Wastewater odor and corrosion control supplier Anue Water Technologies (Tucker, Georgia) recently announced the addition of Phani Peddi as Technical Services Manager and Avantika (Avi) as Applications Engineer.

In their new roles, Peddi and Avi will provide daily technical assistance to Anue Water’s channel partners and end-user customers.

Anue VP General Manager Greg Bock stated: “The addition of both Avi and Phani give Anue Water the ability to provide the kind of first rate technical assistance to customers we have always wanted. I’m very pleased about these two strong additions to the Anue Water technical team.” 

According to the press release, Peddi has over 10 years of experience in the wastewater treatment industry. Specifically, Peddi has worked in process design and operations in primary, secondary, tertiary and solids handling systems.

During his experience, Peddi worked on projects involving metals precipitation, residuals management, disinfection and reuse for such diverse market segments as municipal, manufacturing, fossil fuel fired power plants and mining.

Peddi has also managed pilot and full-scale wastewater treatment plants operations for biological oxygen demand digestion, suspended solids separation, sludge dewatering, fats, oil and grease removal, and reuse water.

He received his M.S. in Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering from Texas A&M University and a B.E. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Andhra University College of Engineering in India. Over the years, Peddi has received the Water Environment Federation’s Rudolf’s Industrial Waste Management Medal for Research in Industrial Waste Management, among other recognitions, and has been published in various industry-related journals.

Avi completed her master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida, where she received an Achievement Award Scholarship for New Engineering Graduate Students. Avi also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Biotechnology Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka, India.

Avi is a licensed Environmental Engineer and has reportedly excelled in Yale University’s online Financial Markets Program. In her new role, Avi will handle project engineering, project planning, cost quotations, engineering production, process optimization, program management, customer relations, system management/troubleshooting, bio-treatment/chemistry, data analysis and the training of field technicians.
