Waterborne Symposium Calls for Papers

MONDAY, JULY 22, 2019

The call for abstract submissions is now open for the 47th Annual International Waterborne, High-Solids and Powder Coatings Symposium, which is slated to be held Feb. 16-21, 2020, in New Orleans.

The conference invites papers “pertaining to new and emerging technologies related to materials, processes, production, characterization, application and markets in the field of surface coatings.”

Some suggested topics include:

  • Waterborne;
  • High Solids;
  • Nano (structure or technology);
  • Emulsion;
  • Additives;
  • Corrosion;
  • UV;
  • Pigments;
  • Powder Coatings; and
  • General Session (all other coatings-related topics).

Officials note that papers will be selected based on the submitted abstracts, all speakers must submit a paper for publication in the annual proceedings book, papers commercial in nature will not be accepted and papers must be original and represent recent advancements in coatings science or related disciplines.

Abstracts are due Sept. 15, and must also include a short bio, company logo, headshot and hyperlink for the company.
