Jetstream Announces Distribution Partnership

Industrial high-pressure waterblasting equipment manufacturer Jetstream of Houston LLP (Houston) announced via an emailed press release early last week a new distribution partnership with waterjet nozzle manufacturer Diamond Technology Innovations (Olympia, Washington) for the distribution of dti’s tetraCORE orifice.

Product Distribution Deal

Over the course of the 18-month agreement, announced March 19, Jetstream will sell the orifice, which, according to the company, offers 10 times the life of sapphire orifices.

Ronnie Felts II, product manager at Jetstream, noted that the tetraCORE nozzles were “extensively tested” at 40,000 psi, delivering up to more than 400 cut hours. (Jetstream produces equipment that operates at pressures up to 40,000 psi.)

“Our [tetraCORE] nozzles are manufactured under tightly controlled conditions. We conducted extensive in-house and field testing on the [tetraCORE] nozzle, in ultra-high pressure, extreme environments,” said Perry Hanchey, COO, dti. Hanchey added that the nozzles maintain their structural integrity.

Jetstream also produces a line of skid- and trailer-mounted pump units, control guns, valves, hoses, replacement parts and nozzles, and dti has been manufacturing waterjet orifices, cutting heads and related products for more than 30 years.
