The U.S. Department of State and the National Endowment for the Arts Design Programs have announced a call for applications for U.S. representation at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition, which is slated to be held from May 23, 2020, to Nov. 29, 2020, in Venice, Italy.

The U.S. Department of State and the National Endowment for the Arts Design Programs have announced a call for applications for U.S. representation at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition, which is slated to be held from May 23, 2020, to Nov. 29, 2020, in Venice, Italy.

Known as the Venice Architecture Biennale, the exhibition is an important showcase for contemporary architecture and design.

This call for applications is for the exhibition at the U.S. Pavilion. The award amount is $325,000, with potential additional funding pending availability from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Eligibility is limited to not-for-profit art, architecture, educational and cultural organizations subject to Section 501(c) (3) of the U.S. tax code and public or private educational institutions.
