DOD-Allied Nations Conference Extends Call for Abstracts

MONDAY, AUGUST 20, 2018

The DoD-Allied Nations Technical Corrosion Conference has extended the deadline for abstracts until Aug. 27, allowing those interested in participating to contribute to the conference proceedings if their paper is accepted.

The DoD-Allied Nations Technical Corrosion Conference facilitates the exchange of information regarding corrosion prevention “and control of military systems and facilities between personnel from U.S. and Allied Nations government, academia and industry.” The program is composed of technical sessions, the student research in progress symposium and student poster sessions.

Members of the abstract peer review group may be active duty military members, DoD civilians or contractors. All submissions will be reviewed for technical quality, lack of commercial content and relevance for the technical sessions.

Conference proceedings will be derived from the papers accepted. Authors will be notified of paper acceptance by Oct. 15, and final collection is set for Jan. 28, 2019.

The DoD-Allied Nations Technical Corrosion Conference will be held Aug. 12-15, 2019.
