New Paint, Primer Aimed at DIYers
PPG Paints (Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania) has launched a new paint and primer for both exterior and interior use that’s aimed at giving DIYers the confidence of professionals.
PPG Timeless, which is billed as “the first paint product that prominently carries the PPG name to be sold through a major home improvement center,” is widely available at The Home Depot, making it easily accessible to its target audience.
“PPG products are trusted by professionals to complete jobs when their reputations are on the line,” said Sara Braun, PPG’s marketing director. “With PPG Timeless paint, DIYers can feel confident that they can get the same professional-quality results quickly and easily.”
The company notes that Timeless offers washability and scuff and stain resistance while also incorporating automotive-grade ultraviolet and gloss-retention technology.
The interior paint and primer is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, family rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and high-traffic areas such as hallways, the company notes, adding that the exterior is suitable for wood, concrete, masonry, fiber cement, stucco, brick, siding, windows, doors and trim.
The product is available in 1,000 different colors, and PPG notes that it provides customers with one-coat coverage.
