EIMA Announces Release of New Guide
The Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems Industry Members Association recently announced the release of the "Guide to EIFS with Drainage Detailing."
"EIMA understands, supports, and promotes all forms of education within the EIFS industry," Dave Johnston, executive director for EIMA, said in a statement.
"This guide not only updates a previous edition, but greatly expands and modernizes where the industry is today. The high-resolution imagery is easy to comprehend and should help architects and contractors better understand the exterior wall cladding system."
The guide includes both 3-D images and over 26 pages of answers to design-related questions. Readers will also find answers to a number of other questions, including those connecting the EIFS with windows, doors and roofs.
The guide can be purchased for a small fee from the EIMA bookstore, which is on the website.
