THURSDAY, JULY 27, 2017

The latest issue of D+D In Depth, featuring five articles on the challenges and growth of different architectural coatings and related materials, is now available online.

Released Tuesday (July 25), the issue includes an article written by Leo Procopio, Justin Gimbal, Dhara Metla and Paul Doll, from The Dow Chemical Company, about combating noise, heat and air pollution with a functional waterborne coating.

Also in the issue, Rick Watson, of The Sherwin-Williams Company, discusses the differences between LEED 09 and LEED v4, and covers the ways in which paints and coatings can earn LEED credits. Dave Donovan, of Centria Coating Systems, dives into coating solutions for metal panels and the performance levels of today’s technology.

Arkema Inc.’s Kurt Wood covers the topics of color retention and fade in an article on PVDF-based topcoats. In Depth also takes a look ahead to the inaugural D+D Material Selection Conference in September, in which David de Sola talks about the innovative format of the liquid-applied air barrier brand performance panel.
