WEDNESDAY, JUNE 28, 2017

The latest issue of D+D In Depth, featuring four articles on the challenges and growth of different architectural coatings and related materials, is now available online.

Released on Monday (June 26), the issue includes an article written by Kevin Brown and Julie Glover, of KTA-Tator Inc., about controlling moisture intrusion from rain and testing rain resistance of exterior coating systems.

Also in the issue, Allen Zielnik, of Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC, walks readers through the analysis of historic architecture and finishes, including field investigations and forensic examinations. Phil Kabza, a principal of SpecGuy Specifications Consultants, discusses the variables involved when choosing the right air barrier system.

In Depth also looks ahead to the inaugural D+D Material Selection Conference in September, and Durability + Design editor Amy Woodall gives the inside scoop on the panel of five coatings suppliers who are scheduled to talk shop about specific coating brands.
