RCMA to Celebrate National Roofing Week
The Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association will observe National Roofing Week this week to commemorate the importance of roof construction and maintenance, and the good deeds of those in the industry. There is also special emphasis on roofing contractors and the importance of hiring the correct professional to do the job.
Organized every year by the National Roofing Contractors Association, National Roofing Week is a way for roofing industry professionals to engage with their local communities and stakeholders.
“National Roofing Week is an excellent time for manufacturers, contractors, building owners and other shareholders to recognize the numerous advantages that roof coatings possess including their proven performance lives, cost-effectiveness and ease of use,” said Matt Coffindaffer, RCMA Executive Director.
While the event celebrates contractors and the quality of their work, a significant portion of National Roofing Week focuses on charity. The NCRA sponsors award programs to acknowledge those members who have given to charity, which includes the CNA/NRCA Community Involvement Award.
Social Media Calendar
Each day of National Roofing Week has a specific theme on social media.
For the remainder of this week:
Sunday (June 4) was the National Roofing Week kickoff, while Monday focused on employee appreciation and Tuesday highlighted employee training.
Roofing professionals can participate on social media by using the hashtag #nationalroofingweek.
