New D+D In Depth Issue Released
The latest issue of D+D In Depth, featuring five articles on the challenges and growth of different architectural coatings and related materials, is now available online.
Released via email on Wednesday (May 24), the issue includes an article written by Allen Zielnik, a specialist with Atlas Material Testing Technology, about what it means to have a “sick building” and the negative health impacts it could have on the persons inside.
Also in the issue, Brian Kelly, the national project design and specification manager for Kemper System America Inc., explores the growth of green roofs and the materials needed for such roofs to have long and useful lives. The team at Ankrom Moisan Architects Inc. analyzes revamped affordable housing design in Portland, Oregon.
On the topic of flooring, Eric D. Lussier, an indoor sports flooring adviser with Precision Athletic Surfaces, writes a play-by-play for considering options when choosing athletic surfaces. In Depth also looks ahead to the inaugural D+D Material Selection Conference in September. Durability + Design editor Amy Woodall highlights featured sessions and keynote speakers from the one-day seminar.
