Facade Restoration Introduced for Metal Structures

MONDAY, MAY 1, 2017

APV Engineered Coatings has launched a new line of primer and topcoat systems for the restoration of metal structures.

Available in solvent- and water-based formulas, the NeverFade system is designed for use on wall panels, window and door frames, roofs, railings, overhands and decorative finishes. The metal line is the latest in a line of NeverFade applications.

“Our NeverFade original formulation was initially launched for concrete, stucco, masonry and vinyl siding applications,” said Mike Couchie, APV Coatings’ vice president of sales. “Now, we’re offering a restoration system that will help commercial and industrial property owners completely restore metal facades so they look and perform just as though they had a new factory finish.”

According to the company, the coating system resists UV degradation, abrasion, corrosion, mold growth, dirt and staining.

The formulas are all custom color-matched to order, available in flat, eggshell and semi-gloss. They come in 1-gallon cans, 5-gallon pails or 55-gallon drums and can be applied with a brush, roller or spray equipment.

APV offers a 15-year warranty that covers replacement as well as labor costs, the company says.
