Chemical Handbook Debuts

A Pennsylvania manufacturer of silicone, silane and metal-organic compounds has announced the publication of a chemical handbook focuses on metal-organic materials for many applications, including polymers and coatings.

The latest version of Metal-Organics for Materials, Polymers & Synthesis has been issued by Gelest.

The firm says the handbook includes 50 new compounds, as well as 15 new or expanded technical articles.

New Information

The 2016 edition of the handbook, according to Gelest, includes pieces on the use of metal triflates in organic synthesis, applications of zirconium compounds in synthesis, and synthetic applications of organoaluminum compounds.

The book contains information on the use, handling properties of metal-organic materials, the company says, and also includes product listings, organized by element.
