New Scraper Affixes to Forklifts

MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2016

A new scraping tool from Blastrac (Oklahoma City) is designed to save time and labor, allowing the user to scrape tape, paint or other materials from concrete floors with the power of a forklift.

The Forklift Scraper bolts onto the fork of a forklift, giving the forklift operator the ability to deploy the tool while driving the machine, and use it to scrape material from the floor. The tool accommodates Blastrac Heavy Duty Scraper Blades in 6-inch, 8-inch or 10-inch sizes.

In addition to a set screw that fastens the scraper to the fork, the tool has a safety chain and hook to prevent it from falling off. Blades attach to the scraper with four bolts. The company touts the tool’s easy installation and removal as a time-saver.

The company offers a short YouTube video that demonstrates the use of the scraper, viewable here.
