Painters: Flaunt Your Handiwork
Coating professionals looking to show off their painting skills will want to save the date for the annual painters challenge hosted by the Coating Society of the Houston Area (CSHA).
CSHA will hold its 28th Annual Painters Competition April 8, 2017, at American Legion Post 521 in Pasadena, TX.
CSHA is calling for teams of three to register for the competition. Each team will split into roles of foreman, craftsman and helper.
The team that takes first place will win up to $900 and a free SSPC or NACE International training course. SSPC and NACE International co-sponsor the event.
Necessary items such as paint, panel and air will be supplied on site. The team or its sponsor is expected to supply the rest of the equipment.
The yearly event, which runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., is free to attend and is touted as a family-friendly day of tailgating fun with games, face painting, door prizes and food.
The competition starts at 9:00.
