THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2016

VersaFlex Inc. (Kansas City, KS), a supplier of polyurea coatings, linings, joint fillers, and concrete repair products, has announced the launch of a new concrete repair polymer.

Quick Mender X.O. is billed as a “specially formulated rapid concrete repair product” made for interior and exterior concrete repair applications. Potential uses include repairing spalls and cracks, pop-outs on horizontal surfaces and spalled control joints.

Recommended applications include polished concrete floors, parking decks and confined spaces.

Mixing and Application

The low viscosity formula may be mixed with dry industrial quartz, polishing dust, Portland cement, silica flour, fumed silica or cabosil to produce a durable polymer surface, the company says.

According to the manufacturer, the minimal odor system can be applied at a 1:1 mix ratio with a steel-blade squeegee, ¼-inch nap roller, or brush.

VersaFlex says the product can cure in -25 degrees Fahrenheit, is self-leveling and boasts good chemical resistance.

Quick Mender X.O. is available in 68 standard colors direct from the factory in 600ml cartridge sets, 2 quart kits, 2 gallon kits, 10 gallon kits and 110 gallon kits.
