All About Vapor Abrasive Blasting

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2016

Research, engineering and testing have reportedly combined to make vapor abrasive blast methods faster than dry blasting, easier to use and more reliable in the field.

Graco’s Eric Rennerfeldt will delve into both the mechanics and benefits of the technology in the next free webinar from JPCL and SSPC.

The product profile webinar “Advancements in Vapor Abrasive Blasting Technology” will be presented from 11 a.m. to noon ET (8 a.m. to 9 a.m. PT), Thursday, Nov. 3.

What You’ll Learn

Methods of combining water with abrasive blasting to reduce dust in coating removal, cleaning and other general surface preparation applications have existed for decades; yet the perception remains that these methods are messy, unreliable and not much different than a wet slurry coming out of the blast nozzle.

This webinar aims to explain vapor abrasive blasting in detail, showing both how it works and the technology advancements that have resulted in better media control, simpler operation, improved performance and more versatility to cover a variety of applications.

You should expect to leave the webinar with an understanding of how vapor abrasive blasting can reduce dust up to 92 percent and lead to a cleaner, easier path to profitable results for many applications.
