Additives Take Aim at Foam
Evonik has launched a new series of additives billed to address foam formation during architectural coating production and application.
The new TEGO Foamex series 10 to 34 defoamers are made to “reduce production times, define filling capacity more precisely and improve the appearance and performance of architectural coatings with minimal investment,” the coatings raw material manufacturer says.
The products are low-VOC, ecolabel compliant and efficient, the company adds.
The series includes 10 products with different performance profiles and cost structures, the company says.
