Coating to Stop Moisture Intrusion
Rust-Oleum has launched a low-odor, latex-based coating designed to protect bare masonry wall and floor surfaces from water intrusion.
The Zinsser WaterTite Clear Mold and Mildew Proof Waterproofing Paint is described as a water-resistant paint that forms an “impermeable, smooth, non-pigmented barrier to water.”
The product can be used on interior and exterior, vertical or horizontal, concrete block and cast-in-place concrete, according to Rust-Oleum. Recommended applications include basement or cellar walls.
The product is backed by a five-year guarantee, according to the manufacturer.
