Webinar to Address Fenestration Specs

Writing specifications for fenestration finishing is the topic of a free webinar to be offered by Durability + Design this Thursday (August 4).

“What’s in a Specification?” will be presented by Gabriel Morales-Sada, architecture coatings marketing manager Americas for AkzoNobel’s Performance Coatings division. Morales-Sada, a graduate of Universidad Regiomontana in Monterrey, Mexico, served as regional director for both The Sherwin-Williams Company and AkzoNobel before taking his current position.

Selecting and Specifying

In this webinar, he will discuss identifying the correct finishing solutions for the fenestration industry, and specifying them correctly. Participants will learn about UV degradation, color gloss performance measuring and the role sustainability plays in the industry.

Morales-Sada will discuss how to specify finishes in relation to American Architectural Manufacturers Association codes, which guide the fenestration industry.
