Henry Debuts Roof Coatings to Restore

MONDAY, JUNE 27, 2016

Henry Company (El Segundo, CA) has introduced a line of liquid-applied roofing systems designed to help extend the life cycle of existing roof membranes, without the expense of removing and installing a new roof.

Henry’s Restoration System portfolio consists of Pro-Grade coatings, primers and sealants. With three technology platforms—silicone, acrylic and aluminum—the company provides options formulated to meet various environmental and structural needs.

The line includes the Pro-Grade 988 Silicone White Roof Coating, billed as a solvent-free, one-component, moisture-curing silicone rubber roof coating. The product features low VOC content, is approved for rain water catchment and exhibits proven waterproofing performance, the company states.

The coating system can be applied to smooth asphaltic BUR, smooth or granulated cap sheet, single ply roof membrane, well-adhered acrylic coating, metal, spray polyurethane foam and various aged membrane roofing, the company adds.
