Manchester, U.K., paint and coatings manufacturer HMG Paints Ltd. has introduced its new high-performance two-component acrylic polyurethane finish.

Acrythane ACE is described as a high solids, low-VOC topcoat designed to meet the requirements of markets, including commercial transport, OEM and agricultural and construction equipment.

According to the product specifications, the coating can be applied by conventional/airless, air assisted or pressure pot systems. It features improved anti-sagging and anti-marring properties, HMG says, and can be polished to remove dirt inclusions if necessary. The product can be air dried or baked, the company adds.

Through HMG’s tinting system, the finish is available in a variety of colors including the RAL, BS 4800 and BS 381C color ranges or can be color matched to a submitted color standard, the manufacturer says.
