Design Star Unveils Interior Paint Line

HGTV star designer Joanna Gaines has teamed up with the KILZ brand to offer a premium paint collection for interiors, cabinetry and furniture.

The line, Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines, includes 25 colors described as “timeless and relaxed.”

Gaines and her husband, Chip, star in the television series Fixer Upper, on HGTV. The couple remodel and sell homes in Waco, TX.

Signature Finishes

“[P]aint is the easiest and most dramatic way to transform a space,” said Gaines. “I’m often asked for advice on selecting paint colors and I want to make that process simpler—that’s why I chose 25 classic and effortless colors to launch the new paint with.”

The paint collection, available exclusively on Gaines’ online store Magnolia Market, was created to compliment the designer’s new furniture line and to help fans and customers achieve Gaines’ signature farmhouse-style look.

The line is recommended for interior walls and ceilings, cabinetry and furniture.

The interior line is available in matte, eggshell and satin sheens and is said to offer an exceptional stain-blocking and mildew-resistant finish, according to product literature. The coatings are recommended for interior walls and ceilings.

As for the cabinetry and furniture paint products, they are available in two colors in a semi-gloss sheen. Recommended for doors, trim, molding and cabinetry, the interior paints feature superior flow and leveling with a fast-dry finish, the company says.

The paints retail for $40 to $50 per gallon.
