RCI Names Document Winners, New Board
The professional association for roofing, waterproofing and building envelope consultants has named winners of its annual document competition as well as members of its 2016-17 board of directors.
The announcements were made during the organization’s RCI International Convention and Trade Show, held March 14, in Orlando.
The annual document competition recognizes members’ excellence in roofing, waterproofing, and exterior-wall construction project documentation.
Document Contest Winners
Douglas Arena, AIA, was awarded first-place honors for the Excellence in Report Writing category for his entry on the Cazenovia College Jephson Campus in Cazenovia, NY.
Arena was also recognized for the Excellence in Large Roofing/ Waterproofing/ Exterior Project Documents category for construction valued greater than $1 million, for his entry on the Colgate University, James C. Colgate Student Union in Hamilton, NY.
Edward Bradley was awarded first-place honors for the Excellence in the Small Roofing/ Waterproofing/ Exterior Wall Project Documents category for construction valued less than $1 million for his entry on the Gas City Historical Housing project in Gas City, IN.
