APF Acquires Super-Krete International

Arizona Polymer Flooring announced that it has acquired Super-Krete International Inc., a globally recognized manufacturer of concrete repair and restoration materials for commercial, industrial and residential projects.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Spring Valley, CA, Super-Krete has over 30 years of experience in concrete substrate preparation, waterproofing, leveling floors and beautification. The company operates two manufacturing facilities, in Texas and California, and provides application training and support services under its Super-Krete brand.

“Super-Krete is an industry leader and true market force in the decorative concrete market,” said APF President Daniel Owen.

“We saw a fantastic opportunity to join forces and together offer our clients the best in both industrial and decorative concrete flooring systems.”

Acquisition Details

As a part of the agreement, Super-Krete will retain its name and brand, while APF will assume the role of its parent company, according to the company's announcement.

Existing decorative products in the APF line will ultimately be transitioned to the Super-Krete brand, which traditionally sells through distribution, APF added.

APF’s flooring products and systems primarily focus on the industrial marketplace with an emphasis on demanding environments, such aircraft hangars, auto maintenance areas, food and beverage processing facilities, health care facilities and other spaces requiring high-performance solutions.

The acquisition will reportedly allow the company to strengthen its position in the decorative concrete market while also introducing its full line of products and systems to Super-Krete’s existing customers.
