MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2015

Aztec Products Inc. has introduced a new machine designed for terrazzo and concrete polishing and maintenance projects.

Called The Refresher, the equipment can be used as a propane polisher, stripper, burnisher and sander and is billed as a “game changer” for the flooring industry.

The product is described as an all steel, low-profile machine capable of handling a variety of flooring jobs, from retail to educational facilities.

Features, Components

The company says the product features dust control capability and a sealed planetary drive with a synchronous belt to eliminate slip and increase durability.

It comes with three sets of driver heads/brushes:

  • one set of three strip brushes for removing old floor finish;
  • one set of three Velcro drivers for resin bond, hybrid and ceramic diamonds; and
  • one set of three Mighty-Lok drivers for 10-inch burnishing or diamond pads.

Each set of driver heads/brushes is designed with a lug system for “quick-change” mounting and dismounting on the job, according to the company.
