Light Bar Made for Hazardous Areas

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2015

Nemalux LED Lighting has introduced an industrial light bar series that the company says can be used in hazardous or wet locations.

The GSLEDIP66 series is a water-tight (IP66/67), hazardous location (Class I Division II) and general location linear light with sections ranging from 1 feet to 4 feet, according to the company. It can be installed in any environment where a low-profile fixture with a direct beam profile is required, including control cabinets; operator cabins; task lighting; military transport vehicles; industrial photonics; and machine vision applications.

The light also can be used outdoors and has color changing (RGB) options for wall washing applications, the company says.

Modern Safety Techniques
Just Like New Overspray Management

The GSLEDIP66 uses switchless drive technology, which makes it suitable for sensitive scientific and instrumentation applications. A pressure vent allows for rapid changes in environmental conditions and protects against condensation, Nemalux says.
