Spec Tool Designed for Paint Projects

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2015

Sherwin-Williams has created a free specification writing tool to help create coatings specifications based on the unique criteria of each project.

SpecExpress helps architects, designers and specifiers produce the specification online in five steps, according to the company. Using the entered information, the system creates a paint specification document, including paired primers and topcoats, that meets the project needs.

The SpecExpress document can be downloaded as a Word, WP or RTF file, Sherwin-Williams said. That document then can be used in its entirety or added to a project master specification.
