Monitoring System Traces up to 4 Gases

With the ability to detect up to four gases and with a traceability feature, the RPB GX4 Gas Monitor is a solution to dangerous gas environments, RPB company says.

According to the Michigan-based company, the GX4 can be used in applications such as spray painting, coating and in confined spaces, among others. It can be surface mounted, wall-mounted or mounted directly to an RPB Radex Filter.

The company says the gas-monitoring system comes with a range of pre-calibrated sensors including carbon dioxide, oxygen and carbon monoxide. The system can be run with universal power options or on an internal battery in case of a power outage.

In addition, RPB says its GX4 has an illuminated information display for viewing real-time data; a 103-decibel alarm (that can be used in conjunction with other alarm systems, such as strobe lights); and the ability to be connected to a laptop, tablet, phone or a network to view real-time data or download logs.
