Silicone Roof Coating Made to Restore
National Coatings Corp. has introduced a low-VOC silicone roof coating designed to restore and repair existing roofs.
SRC 740 is described as a high-solids, one-component, moisture-curing silicone roof coating system.
The seamless system is recommended for application on existing roofing, including concrete, modified bitumen, single-ply, metal roof panel, and smooth BUR.
The formulation does not include hydrocarbon solvents and can be applied in excess of 40 mils in a single coat without blistering, while maintaining maximum adhesion, according to the Camarillo, CA-based company.
The system is available in white, tan, light gray and dark gray. Custom colors are also available by request, the manufacturer says.
