Web-based Unit Monitors Air Quality
Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) has designed a web-based system for dust collection diagnostics.
The GoldLink system provides 24-hour daily access to dust collection operations by monitoring four preset analog inputs and 16 preset digital inputs, the company has said.
Designed for facilities that do not have building management systems, Camfil APC said GoldLink is useful for companies with remote dust collectors, 24/7 operating schedules, sensitive applications and/or the need to generate reports for agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The GoldLink unit ships preprogrammed and is connected to the Camfil APC server. The company said GoldLink monitors filter pressure drop, airflow velocity, emissions, fan and VFD run status, explosion protection devices and other critical points.
The GoldLink system is designed for use with any Camfil integrated control panel and may be retrofitted onto existing dust collection systems, the company said. It is purchased on a one-time cost basis with no monthly service fees.
