IFS Coatings has launched a new powder coating clear coats line called IFS Purecoat.

The IFS Purecoat range features clear powder coatings that allow the color or substrate beneath the coating to shine through while still providing surface protection, the company said.

According to IFS, it can be used for a variety of applications, including door hardware, bathroom fixtures, slot machines, outdoor lighting fixtures, appliances and wheels.

IFS indicates that IFS Purecoat also can add protection to substrates such as brass, stainless steel, plating, aluminum die cast, zinc die cast and aluminum.

The new line is available in polyesters, super durables, fluoropolymers, urethanes and hybrids.

IFS Purecoat clears also can be made with additional protection built in. Anti-microbial Purecoat, anti-graffiti Purecoat, fingerprint free Purecoat and OGF Purecoat are available, the company said.
