Webinar Offers Coatings Spec How-Tos
Expert guidance on the continual challenge of specifying and selecting the best coating for a specific substrate will drive a free upcoming webinar from JPCL and SSPC.
Protective and marine coatings veteran Troy Fraebel will delve into the do's and don'ts of these highly technical decisions in "Specifying and Selecting Coatings," to be held from 11 a.m. to noon ET April 16.
The webinar will provide direction on how to properly select coatings for a variety of specific substrates such as steel, concrete and previously coated; structures; and environments.
The webinar is part of the 2015 JPCL/SSPC Webinar Education Series.

About the Presenter
Presenter Troy Fraebel is Project Development Manager for Sherwin-Williams' Protective and Marine Division. Fraebel has more than 25 years of experience in the protective coatings industry, including extensive experience in the water, wastewater, bridge, marine, power and petrochemical markets.
He also previously held positions with Caldwell Tanks and KTA-Tator Inc.

He is a NACE Certified Coating Inspector, an SSPC Protective Coating Specialist, and an instructor for SSPC’s C1 and C2 training courses. He is also affiliated with ASTM International, AWWA and numerous rural water associations.
CEU Credits
The JPCL/SSPC Webinar Education Series provides continuing education for SSPC recertifications and technology updates on important topics. Participants in this webinar will be eligible to earn continuing education credit.
SSPC is an accredited training provider for the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE), and Professional Engineers in Florida may submit SSPC Webinar Continuing Education Units to the board.
To do so, applicants must download the FBPE CEU form and pass the Webinar Exam, which costs $25.
