Ernst Toussaint, PE, is a senior coatings engineer at TransCanada. He has over 13 years of experience in the coatings industry and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas.

Toussaint is a NACE Level III Certified Coatings Inspector and an SSPC-certified Protective Coatings Specialist and Master Coatings Inspector. He holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Florida.

The JPCL/SSPC Webinar Education Series provides continuing education for SSPC recertifications and technology updates on important topics.
SSPC is an accredited training provider for the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE), and Professional Engineers in Florida may submit SSPC Webinar Continuing Education Units to the board. To do so, applicants must download the FBPE CEU form and pass the Webinar Exam, which costs $25.
